STF Hostel Norberg

Norberg is located in a genuine Bergslagen environment - the name given to the historically, culturally, and linguistically distinct mining district located north of Lake Mälaren.

Hostel guests are accommodated in old miners’ houses from the last century, in the middle of historic surroundings with mines and smelting-houses.

The pleasant apartments are equipped for self-catering with a shower, toilet and kitchen, and the hostel is located high up with views over lake Noren. There is a small bathing place here with a changing room and barbecue. Ski tracks connect directly to the hostel, with artificial snow and electric light, and there’s also a ski slope close by. The hostel is well located for berry picking, and when it's a good berry season you can simply step into the woods and grab a handful.
