Date: This tour runs on fixed dates.Times & location: Check in at Kolarbyns reception at 14-15pm day 1. You have access to the huts from 14pm on arrival day until 12 noon on day of departure. The tour start at 9.30am on the second day and then we drive in own cars to the horses, it take approximately 10 minute from Kolarbyn.Participants: Maximum of 8-10 participants. The age limit is from 10 years and maximum weight is 90kg to ride the horses.Price: SEK 1600 per person, not member SEK 1700 per person.Included in price: Riding tour, loging in forest hut, lunch in the forest, self-service breakfast that you cook your self over the fire, access to the sauna at the lake Skärsjön (you heat this yourself).Accommodation: Berths in forest hut with sheepskin rugs.Information: We recommend you to bring weather resistant clothing and footwear for hiking, warm clothing for cold nights, camera, binoculars, torch, sleeping bag, pillow, bathing suit, towel, water bottle, snacks.Other options: Rent sleeping bag equipment, inculed sleeping bag, small pillow and sleeping bag sheet (SEK 150).
Wilderness riding
A beautiful and relaxing three-day package for a great outdoor experience. The experience includes two nights in a cozy charcoal burners hut with open fireplace, where you sleep on sheepskin rugs, riding on Icelandic horses and outdoor lunch in nature. It also includes organic breakfast as you yourself prepare over an open fire.
To go on a ride in the Bergslagen forests is a fast-paced and fun way to experience our stunning landscape. During the tour you will have to take you up on horseback through forest & field and discover many wonderful and unique places in your path.
At a suitable lake , we stop to be served a delicious locally produced lunch in the wilderness character . After some boiling coffee and cake , we continue the trip home and later in the evening go down to the floating sauna at lake Skärsjön for a relaxing end of your day.
