STF Hotel & Hostel Norrqvarn/Göta kanal

The hostel is situated along the Göta Canal beside Norrqvarn’s lock. The flowing water, canal boats and entertainment on Norrqvarn’s bridge, which becomes a dance floor during the summertime, make it a very special place to stay.

The newly built hostel is located in an old mill dating from 1929, and welcomes guests to unique accommodation in bright, fresh rooms with canal boats floating by outside the window. There are both double and four-bed rooms, and it’s possible to have extra beds in some them.

A restaurant is located in the same building, and has become one of the most visited eateries along the canal. Children enjoy the exciting Professor Gullströms Värld  (Professor Seagull’s World) with its science ship, mini-canal and fairytale tree stumps to explore.

The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
