Children may stay for free at the youth hostel until and including the year they turn two years of age. This applies provided the child does not occupy a bed of its own. Travellers over the age of 15 are considered adults.

Trollhättan is the town of water, locks and waterfalls. The canal flows slowly through its centre, and just outside the town masses of water thunder down the Trollhättefallen (falls).

The hostel Stenvillan (stone villa) is located in a quiet residential area in Trollhättan close to both the city and wildlife. Guests stay in double or multiple-bed rooms with a kitchen for self-catering.

An indoor and outdoor swimming pool, football field, ice rink and miniature golf course are all located within a few kilometres. Trollhättan is also the gateway to Vänern with its unique freshwater archipelago and lovely surroundings, offering bathing from rocky outcrops and long sandy beaches.
