STF Hostel Trollhättan/Gula Villan

Trollhättan has become a popular film location, and is also well known for its waterfalls and numerous locks.

In the centre the canal waters are flat and smooth, but not far away masses of water thunder down the impressive Trollhättefallen (Trollhättan falls) - an area that will soon become a national town park.

Stay in a peaceful and safe setting just a stone’s throw from the town centre, in a cosy turn-of-the-century-villa. The hostel is close to the ‘Walk of Fame’ on Storgatan (the main street), which features the names of many actors who have starred in films set in the city.

One of the largest and most renowned herb gardens in the Nordic region is located in Trollhättan. Enjoy a soothing walk among the herbs, taking in the wonderful aromas and experiencing new taste sensations. Visit Trollhättefallen and ride on the southern-most funicular railway in Sweden, a breathtaking ride that lets you view the falls from above.
