From Askersund Drive towards Laxå, turn off towards Tived, follow the signposts towards the national park.

From Karlsborg
Take road 49 towards Askersund, turn off at Granvik towards Tived, follow the signposts towards the national park, drive through the national park.

From Töreboda
Drive towards Karlsborg, turn off in Undenäs towards Tived, follow the signposts towards the national park, drive through the national park.

By bus or train
The closest railway station is in Laxå, with lies on the west route between Stockholm and Gothenburg. Regional and local trains stop here.

Cycling, riding or hiking
Hike along the Bergslagsleden from Granvik in the south or from Ramundeboda in the north to Tivedstorp.
Cycle along the green-marked Sverigeleden and make a short detour to Tivedstorp on the Tivedsrundan.
Horse-riding trails in Tiveden include a good trail to Tivedstorp – both riders and horses can enjoy rest here. The trail system has connections to places that can be reached by bus.
