STF Hostel Tåtorp/Göta kanal

Tåtorp hostel is a natural choice and lies in a beautiful spot by Göta Canal and lake Viken. Here you will live in a more environmentally friendly way.

The hostel has an organic focus and is situated in newly built houses in ecologically friendly materials and colours.

The environmental focus is emulated throughout your stay. The rooms are light and airy and the buildings have been electrically modernised so all appliances are energy efficient. The garden cafe serves organic coffee and homemade organic bread.

The surrounding area calls for scenic bicycle rides and Dragvägen (the pull road) along the canal offers a slice of Swedish history. Why not discover Sweden's blå band (blue ribbon) from the water? Many choose to paddle from Tåtorp to Sjötorp by Vänern, which has Europe's largest freshwater archipelago. Bicycles, kayaks and boats can be rented at the hostel.
