STF Hostel Skövde

Skövde is characterised by the town’s mountain Billingen, a popular recreational paradise in summer and winter.

In this ever-changing environment you will find a wealth of outdoor attractions including jogging tracks, cross country ski tracks, swimming and fishing lakes.

If you want to see Skövde from above the Billingeleden trail stretches along the mountain and offers fantastic views. Simsjön swimming lake is also on the mountain and is one of the residents of Skövde’s watering holes during summer. In the heart of this haven of outdoor pursuits lies the hostel, which offers accommodation in twin rooms with a private shower and toilet. There’s also kitchen for self-catering. An outdoor pool, jogging tracks, artificial ice bandy rink, downhill slalom slope and cross country skiing tracks with artificial snow are just around the corner.

Skövde’s central location is an excellent starting point for a wide range of excursions. In just over a half hour you will reach great sights like Läckö Slott (castle), Karlsborgs Fästning (fortress), Göta Canal and Skara Sommarland theme park.

The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front.
