STF Hostel Gammel-Gränome

The hostel is situated in rural Uppland, where churches and Walloon farms are common. At STF Gammel-Gränome guests are accommodated in a grand country estate environment and to stay here is to immerse yourself in culture and history.

The hostel is situated in a local history museum that was built during the 18th century and has been carefully renovated and furnished in antiques. The cosy rooms have four beds, with a bathroom and shower along the corridor. Guests have access to a shared kitchen in the main building.

Gammel-Gränome is perfect for outdoor lovers and is a green oasis during summer. Bring the Kubb set (the traditional Swedish game played with wooden sticks), a barbecue and a book. For children there’s plenty of space in the gardens for games and running about.
