STF Hostel Stockholm/Hågelby

The hostel is situated in one of Sweden’s most beautiful parks, in the rolling rural landscape of Södermanland. It was to Hågelby that telephone manufacturer Lars Magnus Ericsson retired, converting the old farm into a grand country estate.

Guests are accommodated in the classic Stenvillan (stone villa). Hågelby Park is filled with fun and fantasy for the whole family. In the Baroque-inspired gardens there are walking paths and large lawn areas. Dance under the canvas roof on the outdoor dance floor, listen to artists, enjoy theatre, bring along your nearest and dearest for family days or to celebrate midsummer and the national day. Hostel guests can also enjoy home-baking and light meals at Café Anna Giertz.
