STF Hostel Ekerö/Rastaholm

The inn Rastaholms Värdshus is situated on Rastaholme, a small island in lake Mälaren. It is set in peaceful surroundings, yet quite close to Stockholm city and only 20 minutes away from bustling Brommaplan.

Enjoy the walking paths along the lakeside or hire a canoe for a couple of hours and view the islands from the water.
Rastaholm is just opposite the water from the viking town Birka. If you prefer the royal touch, Drottningholm palace is only five minutes away. Apart from being the residence of the Swedish royal family, the palace is on UNESCO's World Heritage list and the most well-preserved royal castle in Sweden.
Our newly renovated hostel is accessible for wheelchair users. Situated only 200 metres from the inn it is ideal for short breaks with relaxation, peace and tranquility all year round.

The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
