STF Hostel Katrineholm

The island of Stora Djulö is often referred to as Sweden’s Garden of Eden. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this wonderful scenic playground, surrounded by open meadows, swaying lime trees and grazing white cows.

The hostel in situated in a ‘hembygdsgård’, a living history museum situated high on a hill and surrounded by lush countryside. All rooms are unique and have been individually decorated, and the setting breathes calm and beauty, making it the perfect location for weddings, yoga or painting classes.  

Stora Djulö is also great for exercising and exploring. Begin the family’s big canoe adventure from here and explore some of the fabulous canoe trails. Why not put some of the hiking and bicycle paths to good use?
