STF Hostel Strömsnäsbruk

For more than 100 years, overnight guests have come to the beautiful manor house at Strömsnäsbruk, now a modern hostel in historical and attractive surroundings and a wonderful resource for anyone seeking peace and rest.

Strömsnäsbruk lies in the borderlands between Halland, Skåne and Småland, and travellers have sought lodgings in the village for many hundreds of years. The museum of local history at the hostel presents ancient dwellings, a museum of agriculture, barbecue facilities and a children’s playground. Why not rent a canoe and take a peaceful trip on Lagan, or rent a bike for exciting excursions into the idyll that is Småland?

If you feel like a swim, a heated swimming pool lies a stone’s throw from the hostel. And it is great to take a dip in Hammarsjön, which lies in the centre of the village. Fine running pathways and excellent fishing spots are within walking distance.
