STF Hostel Stora Segerstad

Stora Segerstad is used as an agricultural high school during winter and a popular hostel in summer.

The hostel offers a beautiful and peaceful country estate environment surrounded by farmyard animals and has a veteran tractor museum, a natural part of the agricultural school.

From here it’s close to Store Mosse National park and its Naturum (visitor centre), which explains Store Mosse’s history, plant and animal life. Avid anglers have hundreds of lakes to choose from, and the bird lake Draven and a dip in lake Bolmen are not far away. In winter Isaberg, southern Sweden’s biggest ski facility, draws many visitors. Isaberg is popular for an outing even in summer when the mountain offers beautiful trails for walks and longer hikes.

The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
