STF Hostel Överum

This hostel has been named ‘One of the Country’s Most Beautiful Hostels’ and is located in a traditional mill setting in Överum. Classic mill buildings, breakfast in cosy 19th-century vaults and your own kakelugn (tile fireplace) await you here.

The hostel’s red timbered 19th-century building was once workers’ accommodation for the old factory in Överum. The apartments have been carefully furnished in an antique style and each has its own tile fireplace for a warm and cosy atmosphere.

Överum is a small workers’ community built upon seven hills, just like Rome. The district is extremely picturesque and close to the beautiful archipelago in Tjust. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, including hiking trails, a ski slope and mountain climbing.
