Boda is located in the heart of the Kingdom of Crystal (Glasriket), and is close to Kosta and Orrefors. Experience a journey through time and space in Småland’s emigrant region.

The hostel was formerly the village school for the children of the glassworks’ employees. Today guests are accommodated in spacious and pleasant rooms in a peaceful and cosy atmosphere.

Author Vilhelm Moberg was born in this area and a visit to Duvemåla and the writer’s birth village Moshultamåla is a must. The character Kristina’s home Korpamoen is also a popular tourist attraction. The small farm represents how a crofter’s family from Småland lived a hundred years ago while the surrounding nature offers possibilities for bathing, fishing, golfing, hiking and riding.

Accessibility for persons with disabilities

This symbol shows that the hostel conforms to recommendations from the De Handikappades Riksorganisation (DHR): the entrance is level, or there is a ramp with maximum gradient 5 cm/m. The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
