STF Hostel Älmhult

The hostel is situated in Älmhult, in Carl Linnaeus’ home district in the middle of Småland. It’s not far from here to Råshult, the birthplace of the famous botanist.

Today Råshult is a culture-reserve where you can experience a genuine 18th-century environment with garden patches and herbal gardens. To stroll around these lovely gardens, created according to the methods of the time, is a true pleasure. There is also a museum and an ecological garden café.

The hostel lies just by the lake and offers accommodation in two-, three- or four-bed rooms. The toilet and shower are along the corridor and a shared kitchen is located in an adjacent building. Relax with a coffee on the veranda and enjoy the lovely lake views. The hostel belongs to a larger camping facility and there are canoes and boats to rent for paddling on the lake.
