STF Hostel Hammenhög

The special light at Österlen inspires artists from all over the world. Others come for the vast spaces, mile-long beaches and open ocean, as well as the many boutiques, artists, cafes and restaurants.

The hostel lies between Simrishamn and Ystad in the heart of beautiful Österlen, in an old Skåne farmhouse that has been transformed into a welcoming and cosy hostel.

From Hammenhög it’s around 10 km to the ocean and mile-long beaches. There is a heated outdoor pool within walking distance. The best-preserved medieval castle in Scandinavia - Nils Holgersson's Glimmingehus and Kåseberga National Park with its Ale stenar (Ale stones) are other sights that are well worth a visit during a stay at Österlen.

The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
