STF Hostel Brantevik
The booming age of the shipping industry ended long ago in the area surrounding STF Brantevik, but the nautical feeling lives on.
The fishing village of Brantevik is a pearl on Österlen’s coastline with picturesque gardens and beautiful houses carefully covered in lime that were built by farmers, fishermen and sea captains.
This classic u-shaped Skåne farm building dates back to the 17th century and has been in the same family for thirteen generations, while traditional livestock farming ceased in 1985. The hostel is situated in the old renovated cow stable and has 34 beds across 15 rooms. Toilets and showers are along the corridor in close proximity to all the rooms. There’s a big outdoor area leading off the kitchen with barbecue areas and places to sit. Guests can also rent a wood-heated sauna or bathing barrel, which have become a natural and appreciated part of our hostel. The beautiful natural surroundings call for long walks along beachside meadows, cliffs and ocean.
