STF Hostel Baskemölla

Nature lovers from across the globe flock to the fishing village of Baskemölla every year to experience the town’s apple blossom, pasque flowers, cowslip and orchids as well as the area’s excellent bird watching.

The hostel lies a couple of hundred meters from the ocean and little fishing harbour and guests are accommodated in double or family rooms. The Tjörnedala tavern is located in the same building. Botanist Carl Linnaeus once said that the gardens, which are also referred to as Tjörnedala lund, were one of the most beautiful places he had ever visited.

The Tjörnedalagården (gardens) are opposite the hostel and its gallery has attracted many art lovers over the years, especially during its annual art exhibit. The surroundings offer scenic ocean hikes, while Österlen Golf Course is just 3 km from the hostel.
