STF Hostel Solviken/Tranås

The hostel is located on its own cape beside lake Sommen, in the wonderful Sommen district that lies on the border between Östergötland and Småland.

STF Solviken/Tranås is in the heart of this vibrant historical district. Discover the beautiful plains of the agricultural landscape, stunning forest meadows and hills, wetlands full of birds and steep mountain slopes that rise from the clear waters of the lake.

It is a place of peace to revitalise body and soul, and also a place of activity and inspiration. The hostel was built at the beginning of the 20th century as a boarding house, attracting guests from near and far to experience relaxation and good food in a scenic environment.
