STF Hostel Motala Verkstad/Göta kanal

Near the hostel, the largest guest harbour along the Göta Canal bubbles with life and activity. Guests are accommodated in a K-märkt (classified as historically significant) house, with their own kitchen, just a stone’s throw from the canal.

Enjoy a morning coffee at the nearby café while the boats float by.

If you wish to explore, Varamobaden is not far away, with a long sandy beach for swimming, windsurfing and boat trips. You can also visit historical and scenic places or catch a trout in the middle of Motala. At the harbour you’ll find the Göta Canal exhibition and the Motala Motor Museum that attracts thousands of visitors each year.
