STF Hostel Mjölby

The hostel is part of Mjölby Hembygdsgård open-air village museum, a historic treasure on a cape in the river Svartån, in the heart of central Mjölby.

There are a big number of buildings from the 18th and 19th century gathered on the cape and several of the houses function as a hostel today.

To stay in the newly renovated hostel rooms is a journey in itself and there’s plenty to see and many interesting places to discover, both on your own and in the museums. The atmosphere is typical of its time, and events are held throughout the year, including special turn-of-the-century days in summer when children can experience the way life used to be.
