Symbol explanations

Linköping is one of Sweden’s fastest growing cities, and there is much to discover and explore in the vibrant and well-preserved city centre with its boutiques, restaurants and entertainment.

STF Linköping is a modern and functional hostel in the middle of the city within walking distance to all the city’s attractions. Guests are accommodated in single, double or family rooms and the hostel is a stone’s throw from Trädgårdsföreningen (The Garden Association), a lovely oasis with a garden, greenhouse and nature centre.

In summer Tinnerbäcksbadet attracts bathers to its swimming pool and bathing lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe. Linköping is also a great starting point for visits to Kolmården and Astrid Lindgren’s World in Vimmerby. The Göta and Kinda canals are wonderful local attractions to explore, with fabulous scenery and many old locks. There are several beautiful castles around Linköping, including Ekenäs Slott, which arranges traditional knights’ tournaments every year.
