STF Hostel Björkfors

In scenic Björkfors, at the heart of Kinda district’s beautiful scenery, you will find peace, hospitality and a cosy atmosphere in a wonderful meeting place.

The hostel lies between lakes Björken and Åsunden, and was built in 1853 as a school for local children. Many years later the hostel took over, and now offers accommodation in multiple-bed rooms with a shared kitchen.

Lake Åsunden connects to the Kinda Canal and is perfect for canoeing. The surrounding landscape is great for cycling and hiking, and there are several nature reserves well worth exploring close by.
