Our noted, award-winning hostel “Grenadjären” is now named Livin’, and has moved into newly renovated, centrally located premises near Resecentrum and Conventum. Our new hotel and apartment hotel adds space for even more guests.

Livin’ offers a wide variety of uniquely flexible housing. Families with children, budget backpackers, and weekly commuters will all find options here. In our economical hostel, guests bring their own sheets, clean, and make their own breakfast in the guest kitchen. Our new hotel has completely renovated high standard rooms.
The apartment hotel is designed for guests who wish to stay for a longer period – from a week up to several months. Each room has a kitchenette, shower, and wc.

Sweden’s seventh largest city is an attractive, accessible, strategically located meeting place.
Örebro castle and its moat, the Svartå River, are in the middle of downtown and must be seen. Continue from there to the city park, recently designated as Sweden’s most beautiful park. The park is home to Wadköping, an old timber village that is filled with small shops and artisans. Follow the trail along Lillå stream or the Svartå River out to the water gardens and nature centre – a fantastic gem of nature along Lake Hjälmaren that hosts rare birds and flowery meadows. Don’t miss Svampen, Örebro’s water tower, and its café, restaurant, exhibits, and fantastic view of the city and the Kilsberg hills. “The blue mountains” are the gateway to Bergslagen’s wilderness, 500 lakes, and abundant forests. Örebro is filled with culture, such as theatres, a concert hall, and art galleries. Listen to the Swedish chamber orchestra, or go dancing at Brunnsparken.
There are several good golf courses, such as Lanna, which is ranked 8th in Sweden. Gustavsvik, Europe’s largest waterpark, and Lek och Buslandet, Europe’s largest indoor playland,
offer a perfect experience for the whole family.
