STF Hostel Sorsele

The majestic mountain region of Lappland is the true wilderness of Sweden. The area surrounding Sorsele is typical reindeer country and is characterised by the Sami culture. Many local names derive from the Sami language.

The hostel is framed by the mountain Naovardo, and offers accommodation in cabins with four or six beds. It is part of a complete mountain facility between the Laisaälven river and the white water Vindelälven river, 15 km north of Sorsele.

It is no coincidence that Sorsele has become a fishing centre; there are many lakes and watercourses populated with fish in this rugged border land, as well as excellent facilities for downhill and cross-country skiing.
