To reach Kebnekaise directly, you first need to travel to Nikkaluokta, where the road ends. Nikkaluokta has daily bus connections to Kiruna. The journey by train and bus from Stockholm to Nikkaluokta takes roughly 19 hours. The flight from Stockholm to Kiruna takes 1.5 hours. Hiking/skiing from Nikkaluokta to Kebnekaise is 19 km.
It is possible to arrange transport by boat/helicopter in the summer and snowmobile/tracked vehicle/dog sled in the winter with local transport companies.
And don’t forget that you can also hike or ski to the lodge from the Kungsleden trail.
