The hostel is located close to the unique Thai pavilion, the only of its kind outside Thailand. Here in eastern Jämtland it is close to the spectacular Dead Waterfall and the road to Östersund is a grand meeting between the forest and river.

If you want to experience large and small adventures, there is much to do around the hostel. Speed down the rapids in a rubber raft or enjoy canoe trips in the summer or ice fishing in the winter. The area's forests and mountains offer great skiing, mountain biking and trips by dog team. Or why not try zorbing and see how it feels to roll down a slope clamped inside a big ball? A guaranteed rush of adrenalin!

The hostel is originally a classic farm house from 1872. The vicinity is peaceful and quiet, if you do not interrupt the calm yourself with an adventure. The scenery makes every season magnificent and here you can enjoy nature all year round.

The last Saturday of the month, between September and April, we organize live music pub evenings. Breakfast buffet is available and if you like you can order lunch (why not packaged?) or dinner.

Accessibility for persons with disabilities

This symbol shows that the hostel conforms to recommendations from the De Handikappades Riksorganisation (DHR): the entrance is level, or there is a ramp with maximum gradient 5 cm/m. The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
Pets

This symbol denotes that the hostel has a limited number of rooms for guests accompanied by pets. It is recommended that such rooms are booked in advance (except for at the mountain huts, where it is not possible to book in advance).
