In Storulvåns restaurant the taste sensation is enhanced by the cosy atmosphere and the view over the beautiful mountain area. With our south facing sun-deck the restaurant takes even one step closer to the mountains.
Coast to coast
"From coast to coast" is our food concept. We get our inspiration from Trondheim in the west to the east coast. This results in lamb, arctic char, reindeer, berries, cheeses, spirits and a lot of other products and commodities. We base our cuisine from local ingredients and traditions but add value in finding influences of other cultures. We like to use cooking methods and spices from southern Europe, Asia and South America. Our guiding principles for long-range ingredients are pure and fair, an idea that takes a concrete expression of our commitment to slow food and our desire to purchase environmentally friendly and fair trade alternatives.
Local and organic food
In this part of Sweden you find a love for the nature and a strong entrepreneurial spirit among the locals. Breweries, dairies, cheese dairies, bakeries and slaughterhouses etc are located close together and offers us an amazing array of food, in a way that is unique for this place in Sweden
Slow food
Our ambition is to give our guest a food experience. Something more than just eating a nice dinner. The emphasize on mixing tradition with innovation, culture with excitement and professionalism with joy in our restaurant in combination with the local involvement is a part of our slow food concept. It's our wish that our guests will settle down here, just for one night or a couple of days, forget the stress of the everyday life and just relax.
