STF Mountain station Storulvån

‘Sportily relaxed’ someone once said about Storulvån. The lodge’s close proximity to mountains to climb and ski in the winter creates the sporty atmosphere, together with the constant presence of the Syl massif some 20 kilometres away.

The relaxed atmosphere is shown in the warmly greeted mountain lodge and an international kitchen with local roots. Inspiration is taken from Trondheim in the west to the High Coast in the east. Discover lamb, reindeer, char, berries, cheeses, aquavits and other local products and products. Read more about the Fjällbete association, which can tell you more about the ecological lamb being served.

Storulvån is at the end of the road – in the middle of the mountain world. Silence and great expanses are right around the corner, where a wonderful mix of ski alpinists, bon vivant and arctic foxes gather, all year round.

Children have a bit of a unique place here. Their own adventure world, playful leaders, family weeks and winter sport holiday programs are some of the highlights. If you want greater challenges, you will really enjoy skiing on Getryggen, being lowered down into a cave on Mettjeburretjakke or on a mountain bike on the way to Tjallingen’s Sámi camp.

Storulvån is also the obvious place to start and end longer and shorter mountain tours in the Jämtland mountains.
