Sveg is a charming village, close to the mountains and with the wonders of Härjedalen within easy reach. The hostel is located in central Sveg and offers comfortable rooms with three to six beds in each.

There’s child-friendly bathing in Sandtjärn, which is within walking distance of the hostel, and another popular bathing lake, the Vallsjön, is just east of Sveg in nearby Byvallen. Sweden’s most beautiful golf courses are also here, and are frequented both by golfers and non-golfers who visit simply to enjoy great food and the glorious views.

Härjedalen, the highest region in Sweden, has a magnificent and diverse landscape, from mountains in the west to woodland in the east. There are many ski facilities offering well-maintained ski tracks, both cross country and downhill. Sveg also attracts many visitors for its bountiful fishing opportunities and the trout fishing, particularly in the Ljusnan, is first rate.

This symbol shows that the hostel conforms to recommendations from the De Handikappades Riksorganisation (DHR): the entrance is level, or there is a ramp with maximum gradient 5 cm/m. The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
