STF Hostel Järvsö/Harsa

The STF Hostel Järvsö/Harsa sits beautifully and undisturbed beside the shores of Lake Harsa, 400 m above sea level. This is a vibrant place rich in cultural traditions, where history combines with all the modern comforts that the hostel has to offer.

Next to the farm there is ‘Svedbovallen’ mountain pasture where local farm-girls graze livestock during the summer months.
The peaceful environment and good food make it a great location for courses, conferences and training camps that are guaranteed to get results. Guests are accommodated in modern timber cabins on a south-facing slope. There are standard double bedrooms in the main building and house wing. During winter there are 80 km of ski tracks through the superb landscape that surrounds the hostel. In summer there are scenic nature paths, hiking trails, boat and canoe hire, bathing places and an open-air dance floor to be enjoyed.

The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
