By car
From the E6, drive towards Halmstad Centrum and follow the signs to Järnvägsstation. Kaptenshamn is at Stuvaregatan 8, next to the Nissan.
By train
It takes only 3 minutes to walk from Halmstad Central Station to the Kaptenshamn hotel and hostel. When you leave the station you will be on Stationsgatan.
Alternative 1: Turn left and walk approximately 50 metres, then take the first right, which is Stuvaregatan. The hotel and hostel lie about 100 m along the road.
Alternative 2: Walk through Järnvägsparken, the park that lies opposite the Central Station. You will see Kaptenshamn on your left, after approximately 100 metres.
By bus
Take bus number 64 from the Halmstad bus station, Österskan, in the direction of Central Station. Then follow the directions given above for arriving by train.
Take either bus 30 or 63 from Österskans towards Viktoriagatan (the first bus stop), walk from here until you see the Central Station. Then follow the directions given above for arriving by train.
