STF Hostel Varberg

At this hostel you can smell the fresh ocean breeze from three kilometres away. Träslövsläge, a charming fishing village, is also here and offers child-friendly beaches and excellent fishing.

In addition to relaxing days on the beach you can take a walk through Träslövsläge's quaint streets, shop for handicraft, buy fish at the smokehouse or simply be.  The hostel was built in 1900 and served as a local poorhouse, where the old and disabled were given shelter and provided with a livelihood on the farm. Today, guests enjoy the rural and coastal environment in newly renovated family rooms with a well-equipped kitchen. There is a lush garden outside the house for games and rest.   The city of Varberg and all its attractions is within cycling distance, making it a perfect day trip. If you wish to challenge the wind and waves, the windsurfing paradise of Apelviken is just five kilometres away.

    This symbol shows that the hostel conforms to recommendations from the De Handikappades Riksorganisation (DHR): the entrance is level, or there is a ramp with maximum gradient 5 cm/m. The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
