Symbol explanations

Laholm, the 'Pearl by the River Lagan,' is close to everything the West Coast has to offer. This is a town with winding medieval streets, Sweden’s longest sandy beach and excellent fishing waters.

Just outside the town you'll find open, flat landscape and deep, dark forest. Laholm’s hostel has an enjoyable atmosphere and is situated in the heart of Laholm, within comfortable walking distance to most attractions. Relax with a walk along Hälsans Stig, the 'Path of Health,' with its diverse natural beauty that invigorates body and soul. Visit Mellbystrand, Sweden’s longest sand beach; below the beach hotel you will find windsurfing, naturist baths and open-air baths. From the hostel it's just 500 m to River Lagan, which offers great fishing in one of Sweden’s best salmon and trout rivers.

Accessibility for persons with disabilities

This symbol shows that the hostel conforms to recommendations from the De Handikappades Riksorganisation (DHR): the entrance is level, or there is a ramp with maximum gradient 5 cm/m. The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
