STF Hostel Stenkumla/Gutestugan

The hostel in Stenkumla is located six miles south of Visby and is superbly situated: it’s close to both Tofta Strand, the most popular swimming beach on Gotland, and the exhilarating water-park Kneippbyn, located the same distance away.

The hostel is newly opened and offers accommodation in rooms with four to six beds. There’s also a smaller barracks and six small cottages with two to three beds in each. Each cottage and room has its own refrigerator. There is a dining room and communal kitchen in the main building.

Much of the forest in Stenkumla is ancient and filled with rich fauna. With a little luck, it’s possible to find up to 200 different species of mushroom, as well as some of the most unusual orchids growing on Gotland.
