STF Hostel Ljugarn

Eastern Gotland is the land of the sunrise, and is perhaps the oldest and most popular holiday destination on the island. Picturesque Ljugarn has one Gotland’s finest beaches, offering refreshing swims and great hiking along the splendid coastline.

From Ljugarn, it is a relaxing walk to Vitvärs’ charming fishing spot and the dramatic stone giants at Folhammars rauk field.

The hostel is located in a former customs house, built in the 1850s. Guests are accommodated in two-bed rooms or dormitories, and also have access to child-friendly grounds near the beach, perfect for games and play.

Ljugarn is the perfect location from which to explore the rest of Gotland. Visby is 24 miles away, as is Kneippbyn, one of Sweden’s major amusement parks.
