STF Hostel Malung

Malung is renowned for its reliable snow conditions and is a paradise for skiers. There are well-maintained tracks in diverse terrain and the Sälenfjällen mountain range is nearby. Byråsens winter sports facility is located just ten kilometres away.

It's not just the snow that brings visitors to Malung. During the summer months it’s an unspoiled wilderness and the Västerdalälven attracts many people who wish to try their luck stream fishing.

The classic hostel is located in a quiet and beautiful environment. There are both single and multiple-bed rooms which are tastefully decorated with built-in bunk beds in true ‘dala style’ and solid pine furniture. Showers and toilets are connected to the rooms. Simply strap your skis on at the hostel door and head out into Sweden's longest lighted tracks, a full 30 km in length.
