STF Hostel Fulufjällsbyn

Fulufjällsby lies at the gateway to the mountains, in the middle of the Dalafjällen mountains. Where the forest and mountains meet, in the village Mörkret (Darkness) is where you’ll find the hostel.

As the name suggests there is total silence and calm, but hiking trails and the exciting outdoors are a stone’s throw away and the large ski resorts close by. In the area there are several great lakes for fishing and exploring by canoe. And just four kilometres away you’ll find Fulufjället’s National Park with Njupeskär - Sweden's highest waterfall.

The hostel Fulufjällsbyn is newly built and is a partner to PAN Parks, which stands for the preservation of unique flora and fauna, with a goal to combine conservation with responsible tourism. Fulufjällsbyn offers high comfort in harmony with the natural surroundings. The rooms are airy and fresh and all the double rooms have double beds.
