The hostel comprises three buildings and is situated in a quiet spot, close to nice countryside in the Hälsinggården district, 3 kilometres east of Falun centre.

We serve a buffet breakfast and offer the use of a large barbeque facility with an arbour, which makes a perfect dining area during the summer months. This is an excellent base for outings in Falun and the surroundings. The choice includes The World Heritage Site with the Falun copper mine, Sundborn with the home of Carl Larsson, the baroque garden in Gamla Staberg, Lugnet with the national skiing stadium, the Dalarna museum, Ornässtugan and Torsång with a motor museum and the oldest church in Dalarna. These are just a few of the interesting places to visit in the area.

For those who wish to spend their time outdoors and get some exercise, there are opportunities for many different activities. In the Lugnet Sports area you can practise most sports. In the winter we can offer, among other things, a cross-country ski track, long-distance skating on Lake Runn and downhill skiing in Bjursås. In the summer you can swim, go canoeing, cycle and walk in the forest.

This symbol shows that the hostel conforms to recommendations from the De Handikappades Riksorganisation (DHR): the entrance is level, or there is a ramp with maximum gradient 5 cm/m. The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
