STF Hostel Örnsköldsvik/Överhörnäs

Örnsköldsvik is a small friendly town in the World Heritage listed Höga Kusten (High Coast).

The guest harbour with quaint boast sheds and harbour storehouses is just a stone’s throw from the centre and is a popular and natural meeting place during lovely summer nights.

The hostel is set amongst beautiful surroundings just outside Örnsköldsvik and offers cosy accommodation in single, double or multiple-bed rooms. From here there are many possibilities for marvellous boat rides in Norrland’s archipelago. The hostel is just a few kilometres from popular Veckefjärden, the ice hockey player Peter Forsberg’s new golf course. Another popular tourist attraction is Gene fornby, a replica Iron Age farm that shows how people lived in the area two thousand years ago.
