STF Hostel Härnösand/Rö

The hostel is located in Rö, a beautiful historic area beside the river Ångerman. This is a place where history blends with the aroma of fresh coffee, made the traditional Norrland way.

Here you can socialise or work in a beautiful natural environment and get a taste of the quiet life if you desire. The hostel functions according to the principles of quality of life and wellbeing for all, and has a close relationship with the disability association Gå och Bada (Go and Bathe).

While not a health resort, the hostel offers health, recreation and rehabilitation programs with special dietary food, counselling and training programs. The facility is a member of Regional Matkultur (Regional Cuisine); a quality brand for restaurants that aim to serve locally produced, well made food. Only quality ecological and KRAV-branded wines (KRAV is the Swedish organic stamp) make it onto the hostel’s wine list.

The front door of the hostel and doors into the guest rooms and toilets are wider than 80 cm. There is at least 80 cm free space at the side of the lavatory and 130 cm in front. The shower is suitable for use by persons with disabilities. There is wheelchair access to kitchens and common rooms. At least two rooms are suitable for use by persons with disabilities.
