Personally, the greatest fun I have ever had has been working here at STF for the past four years. Before I arrived, I thought that youth hostels were merely austere dormitories and that there were only avid mountaineers who ate freeze-dried food up in the mountains. Today, I know better as we have fantastic youth hostels with high standards including private rooms, not to mention our wonderfully unique alpine facilities serving three-course meals with fine wines right out in the middle of the alpine wilderness. I am so incredibly proud of the STF facilities and I am certain you will be impressed by what we have to offer!

Look for us where you would least suspect!

Our nearly 400 youth hostels, hotels, mountain stations and alpine huts invite you to travel far and wide and to discover some favourite spots of your own.  Whether out in the big city or deep in the forest, whether up in the mountains or out in the barren archipelago, you are welcome to stay with us. Discover something new or enjoy some old favourite location and activity. STF is one of the largest non-profit organisations in Sweden consisting of approximately 300,000 members.
